Scope and Purpose This position is responsible for professionally and efficiently maintaining the Mens or Womens Locker Room areas and fulfilling members and their guests needs and requests. Essential Functions Graciously tends the needs of members and guests and anticipates requests. Creates an environment that facilitates a welcoming, enjoyable golf club experience. Responsible for keeping the mens locker room and mens restrooms clean, stocked, and fresh at all times. This includes restocking all items used, as well as mopping floors and keeping counters, showers, urinals, and stalls clean. Attend to other standard daily operations associated with the locker room, including but not necessarily limited to making coffee, ice delivery, maintaining inventory of par stock, etc. Cleans and repairs shoes for members and guests. Follows established health and safety compliance. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to read, understand, and communicate effectively in English Basic computer skills Must demonstrate exceptional guest service and public relations skills General golf knowledge Must be able to perform professionally in a high volume, high profile, demanding environment. Physical Requirements Constant standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, grasping, seeing, hearing, and talking. Occasional pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 pounds. Work Environment Work environment is typical of a golf cart on an open golf course. The temperature and weather conditions of the work area are affected by outside conditions. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent certificate. Womens Locker Room Attendant must be female; Mens Locker Room Attendant must be male. Previous guest service experience a plus but not required. Prior golf course experience a plus but not required. All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance suitable for public golf courses (specific standards available). At JDM, we provide...
