    Job Description

    Become a vital member of our team as a Receiving Clerk, responsible for receiving and coordinating all hotel products. The Receiving Clerk ensures that all hotel product specifications are not only met but exceeded. Additionally, they will generate daily receiving sheets for food, beverage, and general products. This position reports to the Assistant Purchasing Manager and works closely with the culinary team.

    • Receiving and Coordination: Oversee the efficient receiving and coordination of all hotel products, including but not limited to food, beverage, and general supplies. Moves and rotates products for proper storage and delivers all food and beverage orders to the kitchen and bar.
    • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all received products adhere to the specified hotel product standards, and take corrective measures if any discrepancies are identified.
    • Documentation: Generate daily receiving sheets for food, beverage, and general products, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all incoming items. Update purchasing orders in our purchasing system.
    • Communication: Collaborate with various departments to communicate any changes or issues related to received products, fostering a seamless flow of information.
    • Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors to facilitate effective communication and resolve any delivery-related concerns.
    • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining organized and efficient inventory storage, implementing best practices to optimize space and minimize waste. Must be able to assist in month-end inventory counts and pars with different department heads.
    • Compliance: Adhere to all relevant safety, health, and sanitation guidelines while handling and storing products.
    • May make trips to the post office for package deliveries and pickups.

    The pay rate for this position is $21/hour. This is the pay rate Wildflower Farms reasonably expects to pay.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High School Graduate.
    • Working knowledge of computer spreadsheets and Google suite
    • Prior experience working in similar environment, preferred.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
    • Must be willing to work in an outdoor setting, including all types of terrain (inclines, etc.) and all weather conditions.
    • Must be able to grasp/bend/lift/push/carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
