    Wildwood Development Assistant Job Description May 12, 2022 Position Title: Development Assistant Employer: The Wildwood Conservation Foundation, Inc. Job Location: The Wildwood Conservation Foundation, a non-profit 501c3 corporation incorporated in the State of California, is based in Sonoma County, California, near the town of Guerneville. The job will require that the Development Assistant be on site occasionally, but the successful candidate will be encouraged to work remotely most of the time. Part Time: Job will be part-time for a maximum of 10 hours per week initially. No benefits available. $20-25/ per hour depending on experience and qualifications. Job Description and Responsibilities: Assist in fundraising activities as assigned including: - Generate and distribute donation reports as requested for the Board and Reopening Campaign Committee - Work with Board members and other volunteers, research prospective major donors, institutional donors, and other sources of capital campaign funding. - Prepare campaign reports for Board and Campaign Committee Meetings. - Prepare mailings (email and postal) and communications to donors and community members. - Call donors and others regarding event attendance, questions and other matters. - Approach the job as an entry-level, pre-professional, junior administrative assistant position with extensive opportunity to learn about fundraising from seasoned professionals. Qualifications: Demonstrably good writing, organization, and computer skills. Working familiarity with Salesforce program and/or other database programs, social media platforms, Microsoft Word and Excel, and teleconferencing programs such as Zoom and FaceTime preferred.
