Job Summary: Wiles + Taylor is looking for a results-driven Tax Manager to oversee their clients' tax planning, preparation, and filing. They will build and maintain relationships with businesses and individuals to provide tax support and/or services.

What You’ll Do:

• Review Individual, Corporate, Partnership and various State tax returns • Review payroll tax returns and various sales tax returns • Review tax projections and complete complex tax research • Review various compiled financials • Prepare various tax correspondence and assist with audits on both the Federal and State level • Review work of tax preparers • Assist Business Management department with client questions, projections, compliance, and tax strategy. • Assist clients with their QuickBooks needs from training, monthly write-up work, and overall knowledge of the program

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience) • 5 - 10 years of recent public accounting tax experience including progressive individual & business tax preparation experience • CPA license or EA certification strongly preferred • Ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, client service and PC skills including MS Excel, QuickBooks and tax software proficiency (RIA Checkpoint or UltraTax software proficiency is a plus) • Music or entertainment industry experience and previous audit/review/compilation experience are both a plus
