Job Description

WILHOIT PROPERTIES, INC is looking for an FINANCIAL/CREDIT ANALYST to join our team at our corporate office in Springfield, MO. This position works closely with our Development team to help review and ensure the financial viability of real estate transactions and development plans. The selected candidate will have excellent attention to detail, self-motivation, and experience reviewing financial records and real estate transactions.

Experience and/or an education in Business, Economics, or Finance is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Conduct research, including procuring information from industry associations, statisticians, and marketing experts.
• Regularly review current and historical financial statements to identify trends and averages.
• Respond to inquiries from internal Development staff and outside lenders.
• Ensure development models appropriately maximize both profit and likelihood of award.
• Assist in preparing development documents and applications as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or Finance.
• Two years' experience in financial analysis.
• Any similar combination of education and experience.
• Superior skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to develop complex financial models utilizing advanced formulas.
• General working knowledge of real estate transactions is preferred, but not required.
• Microsoft VBA programming knowledge is preferred, but not required.
