Position Purpose

Provide direct professional nursing care for assigned patients while maintaining a safe patient care environment. Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. Promote the health and well-being of the patient and significant other through the care continuum utilizing the nursing process.

Position Qualifications

Experience/Specialized Skills/Aptitudes

One (1) year staff nurse experience preferred. Prior rehabilitation nursing experience or orthopedic nursing experience desirable. Clinical expertise, clerical accuracy, communication skills, listening abilities. Clinical, managerial, problem-solving, teaching skills. Independent thinker, ability to make sound judgments, ability to handle stress, ability to react to emergency and crisis situations, commitment to quality care.

Licenses/Certificates:

Current PA Registered Nurse license

BLS required and must be completed by end of orientation period
