Wilkinson Financial is seeking a Licensed Insurance Associate to join our team. The selected candidate will join a small, high producing investment and insurance team that has been in business with Northwestern Mutual for 32 years. A Licensed Insurance Associate specializes in client service and processing of insurance applications and ensuring the maintenance of an efficient and compliant office. They are liaison between the home office, financial advisor and clients.

Responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to the following:

Support

Maintaining financial representative’s calendar, including scheduling reviews and follow up appointments

Responding to home office inquiries, client phone calls and emails

Working with team to prepare files for client meetings

Generating proposals and presentations for Group Disability business

Handle case notes, processing correspondence, maintaining client case files, account forms and other insurance and investment related materials

Processing

Preparing and processing paperwork needed for insurance accounts

Submitting individual insurance for underwriting and tracking throughout process to ensure timely and efficient issuing of policy

Submitting Group Disability insurance for underwriting and tracking throughout process to ensure timely and efficient issuing of policy

Client Service

Corresponding with clients to handle insurance related service issues

Maintaining daily system for insurance follow-ups and service requirements

Servicing existing book of Group Disability business

Tracking Group Disability claims

Qualifications

Florida Life and Health Insurance Licensed (2-15) required

Financial Service or Insurance industry experience require

Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Able to practice active listening and communicate in a direct manner

Ability to manage multiple diverse projects and assignments in a timely and quality manner

Ability to embrace change and work in a fast-paced environment

Able to work both independently and on a team
