Job Description

Wilkinson, Garrard & Clements, an accounting firm in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Tax Associate to join our team. We work with many small businesses and individuals to provide tax and accounting services. We are looking for a reliable team member with strong accounting knowledge and excellent communication skills.  

Responsibilities:

·         Preparation of Business, Individual, and Trust tax returns

·         Preparation of workpapers to support tax returns

·         Tax Research

·         Correspondence with IRS in response to notices

·         Client communications

·         Special Projects as assigned

Skills/Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting

·         CPA or EA preferred

·         1-2 years Public Accounting experience preferred

·         Experience with QuickBooks software (online and desktop)

·         Proficient in Excel and Word

·         Strong communication skills

Schedule:

·         This is an in-office position 

·         Full-Time will be Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week with ability to work overtime during our peak season February through April. We will also consider Part-Time employment.
