NETWORK COORDINATOR

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 4 years experience with computer hardware, software applications, and audio/visual equipment
- Minimum 2 years experience with computer networks
- Bachelors degree in a technology related field desired
- Such alternatives to the above as the Board of Education and or Administration may find appropriate and necessary
Reports to: Director of Technology and/or designee
Goals: Provide recommendations, assessments, and support in the use of technology for all District staff and students in the areas of curriculum, instruction and operations.

EXPECTATIONS
- Is knowledgeable about how technology is used in a K-8 environment
- Assist in the assessment of technology needs and development of technology initiatives
- Is knowledgeable about District technology policies and procedures including the Appropriate Use Procedures, Internet procedures and web publishing guidelines
- Take an active role in supporting District staff and students in the appropriate use of technology
- Attend District meetings/trainings when related to technology
- Is a member of District technology teams/committees
- Assist with short term and long-term technology planning
- Complete other duties as assigned
RESPONSIBILITIES
User Support:
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Complete assigned support tickets in a timely manner
- Actively manage and escalate support tickets as needed
- Perform software installs and maintenance as needed
- Support the District’s print fleet both including laser printers and copiers
- Support all mobile devices
SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT
- Actively manage District staff and student accounts in various systems
- Deploy software as needed
- Provide support in mobile device management
- Support the District IP phone systems
- Support various District systems as needed (Directory, Email, Collaboration)
DATA MANAGEMENT
- Support the District’s various instructional applications
- Support Curriculum technology resources
- Support Operations applications
NETWORK MANAGEMENT
- Diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity issues at the infrastructure level
- Pull and terminate network cables as needed
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
- Organize and facilitate equipment deployments
- Provide support in image development and creation
- Help facilitate repairs
- Organize equipment recycling
