    Legal Case Manager/Senior Paralegal (Estate, Probate, and Elder Law) Join our team! Our busy law office is looking for an experienced (minimum 3 years of elder law, probate or estate planning experience) Legal Case Manager/Senior Paralegal with experience in Estate Planning, Probate and Elder Law, to help us oversee all aspects of case management. You'll already know how to: • Draft legal documents, such as guardianship applications • Draft and prepare wills and trusts • Draft and file deeds • Be familiar with, manage and supervise, Medicaid applications and keep case files and other important information neatly organized and easily accessible • Work fully independently and conduct client meetings Ideal job seekers will be able to work under deadlines and in a fast-paced environment, be incredibly organized, and have experience drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, analyzing cases, and managing case files. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with outside vendors, staff, and attorneys, to manage the law firm’s case load, present case summaries/updates, and ensure that deadlines are met • Examine legal documents to assure all legal requirements have been met • Organize and maintain all case files, and information concerning engagement, whether electronic or paper, in accordance with the law firm policies • Aid attorneys with all aspects of case management, including billing, docketing deadlines, and providing reminders as requested • Conduct legal research to obtain documentation regarding health insurance, social security, medical records, and medical providers Qualifications: • Self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple matters at once • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but a 2-year degree and Paralegal certification are acceptable - High school diploma is required • Computer proficient - specifically with case management software, word processing, and spreadsheet presentation • Experience drafting legal documents and conducting legal research is vital • Professional case management process experience is needed - preferably as a personal injury case manager, or related jobs such as legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal, at a non-profit, law firm, or human services agency Compensation: $105,000 - $126,000 yearly
