    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    Performs various maintenance duties in the office, respond to e-mail requests, and provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients.

    ABOUT THIS ROLE:

    • Perform light maintenance and repairs, including hanging pictures, bulletin boards, replacing light bulbs, repairing and assembling furniture (i.e., ergonomic sit/stand desks), and repairs of broken drawers and cabinets.
    • Work with outside vendors to coordinate maintenance and repair of equipment and furniture.
    • Assist with office relocations and office setups for new and lateral hires.
    • Clean and set up conference rooms, dining room, atrium, multipurpose room for meetings and special functions.
    • Perform emergency cleaning as necessary.
    • Organize and maintain equipment and furniture in facilities, office, and storage areas.
    • Check and maintain visitor offices.
    • Perform daily inspection and maintenance of office space and furnishings.
    • Assist with large box and file moves.
    • Contributes to the firm's Service Excellence initiative to consistently improve its image internally and externally. Displays professionalism, quality service and a "can do" attitude to internal members/departments of the firm as well as external clients and vendors via electronic and print correspondence, over the telephone and in-person.

    Required Skills

    WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

    • Previous experience with office moves, assembling furniture, customer service and the use of power tools.
    • Basic computer knowledge, including familiarity of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • Effectively communicates, both orally and in writing; including via e-mail.
    • Must be organized, with the ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks and problem solve in order to provide a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
    • Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of end users, vendors, peers.
    • The ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in an atmosphere of multiple projects with competing deadlines.

     

    Required Experience

    EDUCATION

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.

     

    EXPERIENCE

    • 4+ years of related experience; law firm experience preferred.

     

     

    Upon joining the firm new hires will go through our onboarding program and be paired with a staff mentor to help them acclimate to the firm.
