    We’re looking for a talented Senior Vice President, Originals Marketing to oversee all aspects of marketing campaigns for Starz Original Programming. The SVP must have proven experience leading an entertainment marketing team, preferably in a TV network environment, and has launched original scripted series. The SVP is an inspirational leader with strong strategic, creative, collaborative and organizational skills.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Drive show positioning and campaign strategy for all Starz Original programming including new and returning series, limited series and movies in order to build brand awareness and drive subscriptions and tune-in.
    • Lead the originals marketing team in continued collaboration with internal and external partners to drive innovation, refine processes and develop efficiencies; foster productive and seamless relationships with other key teams: Creative Services, Digital, PR, Product Marketing, Development and Production, Affiliate Marketing, Brand, International, Research, Legal, and Programming
    • Responsible for multi-million dollar marketing budget to ensure most effective spend of dollars across shows/programs and line items
    • Along with the Media team, plan, execute and evaluate media plans across all media vehicles to drive awareness and tune-in for originals programing
    • Identify and execute upon key messaging opportunities to promote multiplatform viewership across linear and OTT
    • Work closely with Program Planning team to determine most effective creative and scheduling of on-channel promotional assets across the STE networks to drive viewership
    • Oversee the planning and execution of photography and video shoots to capture essential marketing and press assets to use throughout campaigns
    • Work with research to identify audience trends and opportunities to inform short term and long term marketing strategy
    • Develop and build collaborative relationships with Showrunners and EP’s to facilitate buy-in and support of marketing creative and executions
    • Manage and inspire direct reports to work as a best-in-class team; manage up to ensure C-level Executives are kept informed

     

    Required Skills

     

    • Bachelor's degree; minimum 7-10 years’ experience in entertainment marketing, ideally at an entertainment creative agency or network/studio; minimum five years management experience; and/or training; and/or combination of education and experience
    • Specific experience launching original scripted series either from the programmer side or the agency side
    • Strong strategic and creative skills are crucial, as well as strong organizational and operational expertise
    • Proven experience leading an entertainment marketing team, preferably in a television network environment
    • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
    • Team player with a collaborative and generative approach to the business
