JOB DUTIES:
- Ensure proper offload sequence of baggage containers upon arrival
Ensure adequate staffing and equipment for offload
Ensure proper and timely delivery of baggage to customers
Verify baggage container cards are given to bag room and are correct
Verify that bag room staffing is adequate
Confirm that baggage loading is going according to timeline
Check for oversize baggage
Coordinate loading of interline baggage with gate for late passengers
Ensure that all baggage containers have left the bag room 30 minutes prior to STD
Prepare flight documents folder for crew
Communication with CLC regarding load changes
Ensure aircraft is loaded according load plan
Liaise with duty manager regarding loading of aircraft for departure
Ensure ramp staffing levels for departure
Ensure special items (strollers) are delivered to passengers upon arrival and loaded upon departure
Any additional items that the duty manager may require of this position to ensure proper ramp operations.
