    The Practice Development Professional is a leadership role within the Dallas/Fort Worth field office responsible for all training and development functions for our financial professionals both locally and nationally. Concentration will be on supporting newly contracted Financial Professionals with establishing their practice as well as ongoing training, professional development and continuing education for our experienced Financial Professionals.

    • Onboard newly contracted Financial Professionals and provide ongoing coaching
    • Run life & annuity illustrations
    • Process investment related business
    • Maintain training calendar and coordinate ongoing training classes, lunch n’ learns and speaking events to include establishing topics, setting agendas, confirming speakers, selecting menus, etc…
    • Closely partners with New Business Relationship team to deliver an exceptional financial professional experience
    • Closely partners with CL&R team to deliver an exceptional financial professional experience
    • Promote our digital experience in ACE and Insight
    • Professional Development-Coach and provide access to continuing education, designations, & advanced degrees
    • Team Target Market plans -Integration with marketing department on team deliverables
    • Assist STAR Financial Professionals as required
    • Provide support and triage services to Financial Professionals
    • Assist with new business processing if necessary
    • Serve as a resource and direct questions to the appropriate home office support groups
    • Work closely with the Field Leaders
    • Strategic business plans for team leaders
    • Successfully completes regulatory and job training requirements
    • Remains current in profession and industry trends
    • Complies with all company and site policies and procedures
    • Performs other duties as assigned
    • Build and update team operations manual to include:
      • Client Acquisition
      • Client Delegation
      • Client Service Model
      • Roles & Responsibilities
      • Workflow
      • Accountability for each team member’s part of the plan

    Required Skills

     
    

    Required Experience

    • Typically a minimum of 2-4 years related sales experience, 5 years training & development and/or leadership experience
    • Bachelor’s degree required, years of related experience in lieu of degree will be considered
    • Life/Health licensed required, Securities licensed a plus
    • Strong presentation skills, comfortable speaking in front of groups
    • Ability to work with others in a collaborative team environment
    • Demonstrates initiative, self-motivation and excellent organizational skills, ability to set priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
    • Adaptable to a changing environment and flexibility around work assignments
    • Ability to make a positive contribution as demonstrated by learning new skills and making suggestions for process/procedure improvement
    • Competent computer experience with demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office and the ability to utilize multiple systems and windows simultaneously
    • Basic math skills
    • Strong attention to details
    • Ability to triage Financial Professionals
    • Familiar with the STAR Financial Professionals process
    • Ability to screen questions and direct questions to appropriate individuals/groups

    Salary Range - $83,000 – $121,500
