Wilshire is seeking Analyst, Software Engineer to join our application development team. With over $1 trillion in assets under advisement, our technology plays a key role in helping Wilshire fulfill its mission of creating better financial outcomes for millions of individuals world-wide.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in FinTech: the intersection of technology and finance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent years of directly related work experience
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Experience with one or more of the following coding/scripting languages: C# , Python, JavaScript/Typescript, HTML, and CSS
• Knowledge of software design patterns and modern cloud architecture
• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts/structures
• Knowledge of Git and code versioning tools
• Experience reading and understanding third party code libraries, as well as troubleshooting UI related issues on browser-based debugging tools
• Ability to work in a detail-oriented, fast-paced and collaborative environment

Desired qualifications include:

• Familiarity with Azure’s Cloud offerings: App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, DevOps, etc.
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies and CI/CD operating procedures
• Familiarity with 24/7 running applications and maintenance

• This position will work on a hybrid model out of our Santa Monica office

The pay range for this position is $38-$52/hour. However, base pay will be determined on an individual basis considering various factors, including location, qualifications, skills, and experience. The total compensation package includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus and a full range of health and financial benefit offerings, which will be provided in conjunction with an offer of employment.
