    Securities Wholesaler

    Since 2008, Wilshire Finance Partners has provided short-term, fixed-income, real estate-based private credit investments that have delivered Stable Income and Principal Protection® to our investors. As an alternative investment which is not correlated to the stock or bond markets and has little to no sensitivity to interest rates, investors and advisors use our investments as part of a more conservative asset allocation strategy that seeks a balance of higher risk-adjusted returns, cash flow and down-side risk protection.

    As part of our strategy, we recently formed an investment banking firm to assist with our securities distribution and capital raising efforts. We are looking for experienced Securities Wholesalers to join our team in Irvine, California.

    About the Role

    As part of our investment team, you will use your securities sales skills, industry experience and business development acumen to help drive securities distribution and capital raising for the firm. This includes identifying and developing relationships with new investors and advisors to sell existing and new investment products and opportunities offered by and through the firm. Predominantly an internal sales role, the position will also involve representing the firm at presentations, meetings, industry events and other in-person sales opportunities.

    About You

    3 years or more of experience in securities sales; experience with alternative investments highly desired.

    Strong phone sales skills (heavy phone contact requried).

    Excellent interpersonal skills.

    Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    Takes initiative with minimal direction.

    Ability to quickly learn and apply new information and processes.

    High achiever, honest, persistent, and hard working.

    Professional appearance and demeanor.

    Bachelor's Degree.

    SIE, Series 7 and Series 63 in good standing.

    May consider candidates holding an SIE, Series 63, and either a Series 22 or Series 82.
