    Our Just In Time Manufacturing Facility in Voderady delivers the Complete Seat product serving premium European automotive OEM customer groups. Currently we have open NEW position:

     

    SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER – CENTRAL TEAM

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Work with suppliers to create and maintain APQP documentation
    • Attend Lear program launch & management gateway review meetings, communicate timing and quality needs to the supplier and manage adherence to deliverables
    • Complete supplier quality planning review and audits representing Lear and our customers
    • Ensure process achieves customer craftsmanship expectations, functional needs and safety requirements
    • Root cause supplier quality concerns on major emerging issues
    • Monitor quality issues through to resolution for both emerging issues, continuous improvement, and launch
    • Complete quality planning audits and process walks with the suppliers, identify concerns, make improvements with supplier management, and track ongoing compliance to improvement achievements
    • Identify and prioritize risk for Operations from suppliers, and work to develop system checks, inspections at both Lear Plants, and the supply base
    • Review supplier and quality planning buy offs, and work with engineering for supplier requested concerns
    • Monitor run at rates for capacity/quality risks / craftsmanship / customer dis-satisfiers
    • Work with plant to develop launch containment planning, PFMEA risk reduction, solving issues

     

    TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU MUST HAVE:

    • University degree
    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience performing SQE or CQE role in the automotive industry
    • Experience in cooperation with suppliers from metal or plastic commodities (nice to have)
    • Advanced level of English as well as fluent level of Slovak or Czech language
    • Ability to read and interpret drawings to ensure the understanding of the agreed quality parameters and product specific requirements
    • Very good knowledge of quality tools and process/production control methods such as APQP, Control Plans, FMEA, GD&T, MSA, PPAP, SPC
    • Expert knowledge in problem solving methodologies and analytical skills using 8D methodology
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • Demonstrated ability to motivate people, assess and develop employee skills
    • Excellent interpersonal communication and listening ability
    • Driving License cat. B

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    EDUCATION: 

    • Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with Advanced Practice Nurse Master’s Degree OR
    • Graduated from an accredited Professional Physician Assistant Program
    • Active Physician Assistant state license or Nurse Practitioner state license 
    • Active DEA license from state of practice if applicable
    • Board Certified (NP must be FNP certified for six (6) months to adult)
    • BLS Certification
    • Medical Examiners Certification for DOT physicals (ME certification may be acquired within the first 30 days of employment)

    ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • Must be aware of hazardous situations and be able to provide a leadership role in emergencies as needed.
