Senior Construction Inspector
Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is currently seeking an experienced full-time Construction Inspector in Utah. The ideal candidate will be responsible to determine if the materials and the work performed are in accordance with specified requirements. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of, and is directly responsible to, the Resident Engineer (RE) or other personnel assigned to specific construction operations. Inspector’s duties include inspection and observation, documenting and making necessary records or reports of operations, and other duties as directed by the Resident Engineer. The ideal candidate must have a good understanding and knowledge of work required by the contract. This position requires client interaction and coordination for all jobsite activities.
The ideal candidate must meet qualification requirements of the Inspector Qualification Program (IQP) and have a minimum of 15 years of transportation construction inspection experience with UDOT and/or other public agencies. Strong communication and managerial skills are important components of this position as well as a track record of leading projects.
