CALIBRE Systems Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is looking for an experienced Systems Analyst to join a team responsible for supporting the Defense Health Agency's (DHA) Disability Evaluation System (DES). The ideal candidate will develop requirements from a project's inception to its conclusion in the subject matter area for simple to moderately complex financial systems. They will assist other senior consultants with analysis and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts in integrated financial management systems. Specifically: information systems architecture, networking, telecommunications, automation, communications protocols, risk management/electronic analysis, software, life-cycle management, software development methodologies, and modeling and simulation. They will lead the application of analytical techniques and be responsible for providing information and analyses work products to DHA and project teams while resolving complex problems, which require an in‐depth knowledge of IT methodologies and principles. 

Candidate must be passionate about helping others solve problems, coordinates input from cross-functional sources to research and address business or systems issues, conducting cost-benefit analyses for using alternative system development methods and procedures and may provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems while displaying a technical knowledge and the ability to communicate to a wide-ranging audience.

• Possess an understanding of the NIST Risk Management Framework and the Security Assessment and Authorization process.
• Knowledge of cloud security using AWS, Azure, Google, Oracle or other industry recognized tools.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related business area from an accredited college/university. (Other education, commensurate experience and demonstrated ability of individual may be substituted).
• Minimum of 4 years professional work experience providing IT support or services.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE OR KNOWLEDGE:

• Appropriate Certifications: Security +; CISSP; CE|H; GIAC; HCISSP.
• Knowledge and understanding of DoD's Disability Evaluation System (DES).
• Experience with the Special Compensation for Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (SCAADL).
• Knowledge and understanding of the Physical Disability Board of Review and/or the Compensation and Benefits Handbook.
• NIST Risk Management or equivalent activities experience.
• Experience with Nessus, Retina eEYE, Webinspect DB Protect or other industry recognized security assessment tools.
• Experience with federal standards for physical fitness and disabilities.
• Experience with and understanding of DoD health data.
