JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Deep understanding of replication methodologies, partitioning techniques, MySQL configuration settings, knowledge of MySQL limitations in terms of scalability, and ways of dealing with the limitations.
Monitoring and performance tuning
- Ensuring all maintenance, system integrity, capacity, scalability and space requirements for our database environments are met
- MySQL user management (security best practices)
- Working directly with developers to review database designs, indexes, queries and execution plans
- Evaluating and recommending database hardware and MySQL versions
- MySQL
- Experience in deploying MEM and MEB
- MEM-MySQL Enterprise Monitoring
- MEB-MySQL Enterprise Backup
