JOB FUNCTION:

1. To learn and understand the operational functionality of MPWs’ service organization through internship and hands on application at a service location.
2. To use basic marketing principles in market research and aid in the development of corporate marketing strategies, campaigns and programs for a selected business unit.

 ESSENTIAL MARKETING FUNCTIONS:

1. Submit compelling written content for monthly employee newsletter, case studies, MPW website(s) and social media.
2. Assist with writing or editing sales collateral, speeches, video scripts and other communications as required.
3. Analyze trends in the marketplace to identify new revenue opportunities.
4. Research key industries to determine potential revenue opportunities and necessary key success.
5. Do market research on the competition to understand competitive advantages to provide directional suggestion for the sales team, completing (SWOT) analysis on each.
6. Utilize industry research to develop sales plans for specified territories designed to increase sales in key markets.
7. Develop and manage a Business Plan along with the DOS, with business plan initiatives that have action steps that drive the plan (SMART).
8. Measures results against the desired outcomes and create analysis for future recommendations.
9. Analyze the effectiveness of all marketing materials and make appropriate adjustments.
10. Responsible for development, maintenance, and updating all marketing material-cut sheets, PPT's, and interactive materials.
11. Develop customer proposal templates for the sales team and coordinate distribution, pricing and response with the sales team.
12. Prepare forecasts for geographic areas and industries.
13. Assist sales efforts for all divisions.
14. Central point of contact for all marketing efforts for MPW sister companies, PK/PKX.
15. Accountable for managing budget. 
16. Perform duties as directed.

Required Skills Required Experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communication or Public Relations.
2. 1 -3 years related experience.
3. Experience with AP Style preferred.
4. Ability to read, analyze and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures and government policies.
5. Able to write reports and sales correspondence, and present information.
6. Ability to clearly communicate and prepare presentation materials.
7. Have both a strategic mindset along with tactical skill sets to accomplish goals.
8. Proficient computer skills required, including Power Point, Excel and Microsoft Word.

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent and effective verbal and written communication, and listening skills.
• Basic reading, comprehension and numerical reasoning skills.
• Detail oriented-must be able to complete paperwork in an accurate, neat and efficient manner.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software, and prior experience using windows-based computer programs
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Prior customer service experience is preferred, but not required
