SUMMARY OF POSITIONS

Facilitate shipping and receiving by accurately identifying incoming and outgoing stock items in a safe and efficient manner following the product handling standards.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES

1. Performs unloading, loading, wrapping, unwrapping, moving, lifting, assembly and staging of merchandise.
2. Assist the design team with the receipt and placement of product as needed to replenish visual displays.
3. Assists with customer pick-ups in a safe and efficient manner.
4. Maintains a safe and clean work environment
5. Practices safe and secure loading methods and distributes merchandise properly in accordance with product handling standards.
6. Practices safe and secure loading methods to avoid damages
7. Reports errors found on documents to supervisor.
8. Completes all documentation neatly and accurately.
9. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Excellent verbal and written communication, and listening skills.
• Basic reading and comprehension skills.
• Basic numerical reasoning skills.
• Ability to complete paperwork in an accurate, neat and efficient manner.
• Basic computer skills.
• Mechanically inclined.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand , push, pull and lift cartons weighing approximately 50 – 100+ lbs. repetitively.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This position does not supervise others

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Store Dock

WORK SCHEDULE:

• Schedule may vary according to business needs

TRAVEL REQUIRED

• No travel required
