Field work is required 95% of the time, where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 50 lbs) may be required as needed.

Working level experience with traffic safety engineering tools and resources such as: Highway Safety Manual, MUTCD, IHSDM and ISATE.
The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and analytical skills, an understanding of the planning and project development process, be willing to travel occasionally to assist other offices. This position will mentor junior-level traffic engineering staff. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and:
