    HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR

    The Human Resources Coordinator is an entry level, hands-on role that provides support for our Joliet, IL facility.  The role is critical in executing CTDI people initiatives and providing great internal customer support.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Prepare and distribute reports as necessary.
    • Partner with the Corporate Talent Team and local management to coordinate all direct hire and temp to hire needs. Ensure strong candidate experience throughout recruitment and onboarding process.
    • Identify and drive Branch programs and initiatives to increase employee engagement and retention in support of business strategies. Coordinate employee events and support special projects.
    • Successfully monitor the pulse of the branch to ensure a high level of employee engagement. Interact with management and employees to ensure an open line of communication is maintained.
    • Respond to employee inquiries and/or concerns. Escalate issues to management and Human Resources as needed.
    • Provide Time & Attendance (Kronos) support.
    • Assist with safety and security functions.
    • Perform other clerical functions to assist branch operations.

    Required Experience

    EXPERIENCE:                          

    • 2+ years of previous administrative experience, preferably in a large distribution facility
    • Prior experience in Human Resources is a plus
    • Experience working with Kronos and UltiPro is strongly preferred
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Experience working with temporary staffing agencies
