    We are seeking a sharp legal administrative assistant for our busy law firm who can help our attorneys and paralegals assist our clients and keep the office running smoothly on a part-time to full-time basis. You will work with the team to prepare a variety of legal documents, and handle office correspondence like answering emails and phone calls, scheduling meetings and travel, preparing packets and information for our seminars and events, and reminding the team of upcoming deadlines. If you are an excellent multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you! $13 - $14 hourly to start plus bonus structure Responsibilities: Conduct legal research, when necessary, with guidance from attorneys and paralegals Ensure client billing is processed properly using daily time records with assistance from the accounting department • Make travel arrangements, schedule meetings and appointments for the team, and coordinate with outside vendors for events and seminars • Assist with the creation of various legal documents • Create packets of information for our seminars and events • Help with updating our Website and Social media • Help keep records of client data • Undertake duties as needed or requested to ensure the firm operates efficiently Qualifications: Candidates should be able to type at least 50 words per minute Proficient with MS Office products Must be able to prioritize tasks with demanding deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment Associate’s degree, or some college is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is necessary Candidates should have strong organizational skills and communication skills • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a law firm or an office environment as an administrative assistant or receptionist is preferred Compensation: $13 - $14 hourly + bonus
