One of New York’s premier systems integrators for Technology and Building systems continues to grow, and is looking for a Technical Estimator to lead Engineering during the Pre-Sales process.
Specializing in high-tech systems, cloud-based software services and audio/video solutions for thousands of businesses, schools and properties in the greater New York Metropolitan area, this organization works with prestigious and well-known organizations over the past 22 years.
- Review the prospect’s needs and wants for the product/services offered and works with the Senior Sales Engineer, System Engineers and the Sales team to develop the right solution.
- Gather relevant site details in order to create the scope of work including equipment and labor estimate.
- Review and interpret project bid specifications, including site walks
- Provide accurate and timely project estimates/quotes to the sales team that support the detailed scopes of work outlined in Sales Proposals, RFIs, RFPs etc.
- Review & edit detailed scopes of work & product details in Sales Proposals
- Respond to requests for proposals (RFPs)
- Create requests for information (RFIs)
- Review product estimate and system design with sales department and other key internal resources.
- Utilize design experience, as well as AutoCAD and various software tools
