Job Description

As our Systems Administrator, for El-Com Systems, a division of Winchester Interconnect, located in Garden Grove, you will work with the business in planning and coordinating systems analysis, CMMC Certification, design and implementation projects to automate processing or improve business systems, including ERP systems. Support day to day IT activities, keep things healthy and maintained. You’ll enjoy working in a fun, collaborative, and fast (high-mix/low-volume) manufacturing operation.

WHAT ARE YOU ACCOUNTABLE FOR?

• Provide key support for critical systems, including internal communication tools, business operational tools, and homegrown platforms

• Develop and maintain local networks and systems in ways that optimize performance, while ensuring the security and privacy of all networks and computer systems

• Manage contracts with vendors (e.g. development platforms, telecommunication companies, password managers) and software licenses

• Analyze and implement organizational integrations, processes, and systems 

• Maintain and test business continuity, disaster recovery, and IT related policies to ensure best practices are adhered to

• Responsible for IT strategy & budgeting

• Responsible for the technical implementation of requirements needed to address control gaps and satisfy compliance for the Department of Defense (DOD) Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)

• Develop and document procedures used by El-Com Systems employees as part of building the training library

• Increase personal knowledge of business and technical environment with the goal of increasing first-call resolution rates

• Build partnerships with employees by regularly demonstrating expertise and professionalism

CRITERIA FOR SUCCESS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience preferred

• 3+ years’ experience working in an IT Lead capacity

• Experience with CMMC certification is a plus; alternately, experience with other compliance or security frameworks is a plus

• Experience in ERP management required

• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud environments. GCC High experience is a plus.

• Experience with Windows and MacOS operating systems

• Experience with virtualization platforms, particularly Hyper-V and VMWare.

• Experience leading and managing IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies

• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment

• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects

• Strong attention to detail, project management, and organizational skills

• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Multisite experience a plus
