    Title: Transformer Coil Winder & Insulator
    Shift: 2:15 PM – 10:35 PM, Monday–Friday
    Salary: $18.63 per hour

    Transformer Coil Winder & Insulator Role:
    We are seeking a skilled Transformer Coil Winder & Insulator to join our client’s manufacturing team in Cortland, Ohio. This critical role involves winding and insulating coils for custom transformers, ensuring precision and adherence to strict specifications. The successful candidate will play a key part in maintaining the company’s reputation for producing high-performance, reliable magnetic products that meet rigorous quality standards.

    Transformer Coil Winder & Insulator Responsibilities:

    • Read and interpret technical drawings and transformer specifications to determine coil requirements

    • Set up and operate winding machines, adjusting speed and molds as needed

    • Wind coils and insulate leads, taps, and coils according to specifications

    • Attach taps and leads using crimping, brazing, welding, or soldering methods

    • Perform quality control testing and record data to ensure compliance with standards

    • Maintain and inspect winding equipment, identifying and reporting issues

    • Keep work area clean and follow all safety and quality protocols

    Transformer Coil Winder & Insulator Reporting Relationships:
    Reports to the Production Supervisor. No direct reports.

    About You:

    • Have experience with coil winding and electrical assembly

    • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately

    • Use precision measuring tools and standard coil winding equipment

    • Work independently and collaborate effectively within a team

    • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

    • Adapt to changing priorities and maintain a clean work environment

    • Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members
