This person’s primary responsibility as Project Manager is to oversee Windle Design & Construction projects. Many of the activities will require being present at various construction sites. It is imperative that you are organized in coordinating your day efficiently. Some daily tasks would include (but are not limited to): making any change orders required to keep jobs going, reading construction documents, verifying subs are building to authorized designs, monitoring the schedule of the subcontractors, monitoring the work being done on job sites, checking in with project managers to see if they need any help, etc. The ideal applicant would like to solve problems and have excellent people skills. In the first year, this employment role will be demanding and time-consuming, but it will be financially lucrative. Compensation: • Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 • Paid Time Off & Paid Sick Days • Cell phone and Gas Reimbursement • Stipend Health Benefits • 401k Contribution Responsibilities: • Negotiate lucrative contracts with outside suppliers, contractors, and essential subcontractors • Using a digital platform, plan construction activities and develop a construction timeline to guarantee project deadlines are reached • In order to create an exact list of project specifications, including manual labor needs and essential materials, you must first clarify the scope with clients, engineers, construction managers, and architects • Control a number of active, complex construction projects at once • Oversee the work of the production team, which consists of the superintendents, assistant project managers, and subcontractors • Fixing problems on the job sites every day and guaranteeing site security • Organize and train a growing internal staff of skilled workers • Clear communication with clients and team members Qualifications: • Applicants must be able to fully interpret and comprehend all construction documents and civil engineering designs, grades, retaining walls, etc. They also need to have a minimum of five years direct experience building and upgrading homes and commercial spaces, ideally more • Have in-depth understanding of construction blueprints, especially civil drawings, and be completely at ease reading them and giving instructions to others • Obligated to present a portfolio of earlier work • Must be very organized and has excellent problem-solving abilities. • Innovative, resourceful, and forward-thinking in determining the best strategies to guarantee the business's long-term success and growth • Must have remodeling experience rather than just fresh construction Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000
