    Job Description: Wine Country CrossFit is looking for a group fitness certified instructor to lead 12-15 classes per week and lead clients through their fitness transformations. About Wine Country CrossFit: Wine Country CrossFit is a small business serving the Napa community for over 15 years. We provide group fitness classes and personal training for all ages. We are open seven days per week and have helped dozens of members break personal records and attain fitness goals. Ask our coaches, and the one word they’d used to describe working here is “community”. Our coaches support each other, in and outside of work, and our members have built relationships with coaches that has resulted in high member retention. We expect everyone to bring their whole selves to work. Responsibilities: Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Instructors are expected to provide a positive class experience for our members including: • Understanding the nine fundamental movements that are the foundation of functional fitness. • Preparing an appropriate warm-up for each class. • Scale the load and intensity as needed for various skill levels • Maintain high cleanliness standards. • Create individualized fitness programs for all ability levels • Perform evaluations and monitor clients' progress to adjust their plans accordingly • Offer guidance and instruction during sessions to ensure a high level of safety and efficacy • Demonstrate proper use of fitness equipment to ensure clients follow the exercises correctly • Develop positive relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction This position will require a minimum of 35 hours per week for all duties described above, including 15 hours of on-floor coaching. Qualifications: • Must have experience in the fitness industry • US Work Authorization is required • CrossFit Level 1 Certification is preferred, but not essential • Applicants must be at least 18 years old • Must have the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. • A High School Diploma or GED is necessary Compensation: $30 - $45 hourly
