TALENT & CULTURE ADMINISTRATOR

We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to fill a key position on our Talent & Culture team supporting our Paso Robles, CA facility. This position will also provide support to our Glenwillow, OH, Santa Maria, CA, American Canyon, CA, and Sherwood, OR facility.
We are looking for someone who can perform highly responsible and complex administrative, analytical, and professional work. This individual will work closely with Talent & Culture staff and provide primary administrative support functions associated with payroll, recruitment, records management, employee relations, and other tasks as assigned. The Talent & Culture Administrator is a key part of our team and will report to the Manager, Talent & Culture.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Recruitment:
- Facilitates and implements all phases of the recruitment process
- Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
- Assists with job postings and advertisements processes
- Screens applications and selects qualified candidates
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resources staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
Onboarding:
- Process onboarding paperwork through Paycom
- Coordinate and lead new hire orientation
- Prepare necessary documents and coordinate new hire orientation with the hiring manager
- Monitor and track the onboarding process
Job Descriptions:
- Maintain job descriptions to ensure consistency
Employee Relations:
- Assist with employee relations
- Researching (as required) and appropriately respond to employee and manager inquires and concerns regarding Talent & Culture policies, procedures, and practices
- Build strong relationships with employees and managers
Talent & Culture Support:
- Provide administrative support to the Talent & Culture team and projects as needed
Electronic Filing:
- Maintain personnel files and necessary documents electronically
Employee Engagement:
- Assist with coordinating company activities/events
Other duties as assigned
WHO YOU ARE:
Candidates must possess highly developed sense of empathy, with a focus on ensuring the best experience for our partners, clients, and the end-consumer.
- 1 to 3 years of Human Resources experience in areas such as recruitment and employee relations.
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or equivalent degree.
- Human Resources Certification a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain the utmost confidentiality.
- Uses independent judgement and problem solving skills; extremely detail oriented, proactive and organized.
- Excellent PC skills with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) database and communications software.
- Excellent interpersonal, active listening, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work; good time management skills; and multi-tasking abilities.
