The role will involve working on diverse caseloads focusing on Professional Liability and Securities/FINRA. To excel in this position, you must have CA bar admission and possess strong writing and analytical skills. The salary for this role is competitive and ranges from $90,000.00 to $120,000.00. This position offers a hybrid schedule, providing flexibility and work-life balance. • Position: Junior Associate Attorney: Location: Los Angeles, CA • Experience: 1-3 years • Practice areas: Professional Liability, Securities/FINRA • Requirements: CA bar admission • Skills: Strong writing and analytical skills • Salary range: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 • Schedule: Hybrid Responsibilities: Associate responsibilities include representation of clients in legal proceedings, research and preparation of legal documents and pleadings, handling discovery, and assisting partners/clients in legal transactions. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities • Efficient management of multiple cases. • Timely preparation of pleadings, motions, and discovery to opposing parties. • Participate in mediations, hearings, and depositions as required. • Client interaction and problem resolution as it relates to cases. • Integration of best practices and standards in handling clients and their cases. • Evaluation of findings and development of strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases. • On-time completion of reports/projects, in adherence to partner and client needs/guidelines. • Accurate and timely recording of billable hours, in adherence to client guidelines and Firm policy. Qualifications: Position Skills and Qualifications • Ability to comprehend complex matters, identify and articulate core issues, and understand applicable legal principles. • Knowledge of federal and state rules of civil procedures. • Proven time-management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize issues and tasks. • Possesses a keen eye for detail, coupled with exceptional research and proofreading abilities. • Thorough knowledge of legal procedures and current developments. • Working knowledge of computers, along with the ability to maintain, update, and modify documents. • Possess relevant technology competencies such as LexisNexis, and time-billing software. • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. • Effective written and oral communication skills. • Strong research and legal writing skills. • Desire to work additional hours as deemed necessary based on caseload. Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000
