Winget, Spadafora & Schwartzberg, LLP seeks Senior Associate with 4-7 years of litigation experience to join its headquarters in New York City. NY & NJ bar admission required for diverse practice including professional liability, securities litigation, labor & employment and insurance broker liability. We are looking for candidates with experience in civil litigation and a demonstrated ability to independently move cases toward resolution or trial. Responsibilities: • Drafting legal documents, including pleadings and motions • Assisting with discovery, including drafting demands, analyzing responses and reviewing/digesting document productions • Conducting Legal Research • Working closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects and assignments • Regularly handling court appearances and depositions • Reporting to clients and carriers on the status of each matter Qualifications: • JD from an accredited law school • Must be admitted to practice in New York & New Jersey • 4-7 years of experience • Court appearances and deposition experience required • Experience drafting summary judgment motions and other dispositive motions Compensation: $110,000 - $150,000 yearly
