Job Summary
We are looking for an RV Service Technician to join our successful dealership service center.
As an RV Service Technician, you will be responsible for prepping and detailing units for customer delivery and explaining proper operation of vehicle systems to customers. Must read work orders or examine vehicles needing repair to determine the nature and extent of damage. Diagnose, inspect, adjust, repair, or overhaul recreational vehicles including travel trailers. We specialize in maintaining gas, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing, or chassis/towing systems as well as repairing generators, appliances, and interior components. You must be comfortable using the dealership’s computer software and have extensive knowledge of vehicle systems.

Responsibilities
Use your expertise and diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunction codes
Assist with establishing service center procedures for tracking repair status, maintaining technical documentation, and other necessary protocols
Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks
Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
Convey necessary RV operation details of vehicle systems and repair information to customers in a clear and concise manner
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED is required
Strong customer service and communications skills are required
Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills
Physical Demands: Requires significant amount of physical activity: limited lifting and carrying (up to 50 lbs.), bending, climbing (up to 5 ft.), pushing, pulling, standing, walking, kneeling, and traveling by vehicles. Vision in the normal visual range with or without correction. Sense of touch and the ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment required.
Work Environment: Work is performed in a combined indoor and outdoor setting.
Equipment: general auto mechanic equipment, production mowing equipment, snow removal equipment, truck, carts and other fleet vehicles, hand and power tools, general office equipment.
