    Job Description

    Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in statistics, quantitative social science, computer science or related field (Master’s preferred) and one to three years of experience working in a research or analytical environment. Strong analytical skills and an understanding of post-secondary education. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, and a demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new software and systems. Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools is ideal. Familiarity with a programming, statistical computing, or database management language (e.g. C++, Java, R, Python, VBA, SAS, Ruby, SQL) is preferred. Problem-solver capable of managing large datasets and clearly articulating findings to a variety of internal and external audiences. Comfortable working autonomously or collaboratively, while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. Candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be flexible and responsive to stakeholders across campus. Responsibilities This person will possess advanced Excel skills and use reporting tools such as Power BI to create reports from the student information system and other data sources to create interactive dashboards and fulfill ad hoc and annual data requests.  The Data Analyst will work with cross-functional teams to support enrollment operations. They will work to transform existing static documents to interactive visualizations using Power BI and other software. Must Have Excel skills: graphs, tables formulas, pivots BA required Advanced excel skills
