    Job Description

    SUMMARY: Outside Sales Representative responsible for all areas of the sales cycle, including prospecting (hunting), sales development (qualifying), sales execution (closing), and account management (farming). Presents, promotes, and sells products to existing and prospective customers. Acts as a company ambassador and is a trusted face to our customers while also adhering to company values and policies. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: * Proven work experience as a sales representative with product and industry knowledge. * Must have a clean driving record and vehicle to visit customer sites. SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES: * Highly self-motivated and target driven. * Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills. * Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills. * Relationship management skills. * Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience/customer needs. * Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Visit and regularly work with current and potential customers, providing necessary solutions. * Create and implement a sales strategy that meets individual, branch, and company goals. * Attend and participate in all sales meetings as scheduled by the manager. * Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs. * Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships. * Develop new customers through cold calling, networking, and referrals. * Provide customers quickly with accurate and detailed quotations. * Enter sales orders using the Company's sales order entry software, as provided. * Work collaboratively with the outside sales team members and managers. * Log sales activities and provide reporting as requested. * Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction. * Monitor industry trends to identify emerging markets and develop plans to expand sales/revenue. OTHER DUTIES: * Other duties as assigned by the Manager. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Must be able to efficiently use a personal computer equipped with a standard keyboard and mouse. * Ability to communicate in English to locate, read and report information. * Regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. * Lift, lower, and carry products up to 50 lbs. * Ability to drive own vehicle daily to customer sites.
