SUMMARY:
Oracle Functional Analyst is the main point of contact for support of the Oracle Cloud ERP and other Backoffice applications. The Oracle Functional Analyst will troubleshoot and resolve access, scheduling processes, and other issues reported by our users. The Oracle Functional Analyst will be responsible for functional designs, technical designs and mappings, wireframes, requirement specifications, and prototypes.
The Oracle Functional Analyst works directly with the Director of IT for ERP and assists with daily operations exercising time management, communication, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment to ensure the successful delivery of projects. The job will interface with technical and business delivery personnel, as well as vendors and customers on a regular basis.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field. ****
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
- Be independent and self-driven.
- Some knowledge of ERP modules (AP, AR, GL, FA, CM, Supply Chain) or ability to learn.
- Some knowledge of Data warehouse, data modeling, and its architecture.
- Some knowledge of SQL and/or PLSQL with experience with OTBI and BI reporting.
- Proficient in authoring, editing, and presenting technical documents.
- Ability to elicit requirements and communicate clearly with non-technical individuals, development teams, and other ancillary project members.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTES:
- As an Oracle ERP techno/functional specialist, you will be working with internal employees which involves production support of Oracle Fusion Cloud modules.
- Prioritize issues and take proactive action until resolved.
- Interact with the employees to understand their business processes and map them to Fusion Financial/SCM modules.
- Support and work on tickets on a day-to-day basis.
- Identify issues and provide production support.
- Document processes and create SOP’s.
- Work closely with offshore team, and other departments to create solutions.
- Implement IT Change Management practices.
- Ability to travel up to 10%
OTHER DUTIES:
- Other duties as needed and assigned by Manager.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
- Ability to use keyboard, mouse, and PC.
- Ability to walk, sit, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs.
