Job Description
The Inside Sales Representative for Government Contracts works with various government entities to identify opportunities and contracts compatible with the WireCo business. The ideal candidate will successfully manage the requirements mandated in each request, and work to ensure a smooth sales process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Researching potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources
· Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, etc.
· Creating and maintaining a list/database of probable opportunities
· Presenting and delivering information regarding prospects
· Understand the needs and expectations of the customer
· Answering questions and follow-up call questions
· Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
· Maintaining database (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.) of opportunities
· Accurately quote and develop proposals for submission
· Engage the necessary departments to work through challenges and roadblocks
· Closing sales and working with client through closing process
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES QUALIFICATIONS
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES QUALIFICATIONS
CRM/Salesforce experience preferred
MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED
Computers, Faxes, copiers, phones.
