High End Retail Lighting showroom located in the Dallas Design District seeks a highly motivated Business Development / Sales Associate. Our achievements are a direct result of the dedication and talents of the individuals who work for us. Our firm has multiple boutique showrooms in Los Angeles, New York, Miami and London serving the high-end retail market & specializing in custom fabrication. We are a progressive, dynamic company and an industry leader that provides a creative and energetic work environment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications
1. Sales experience; preferably in the lighting or furniture market
2. Highly organized
3. Computer skills (all office programs, Salesforce experience preferred)
4. Self motivated
5. Experience with the design market
6. Drawing or sketching skills preferred
7. Familiarity with materials and components
8. Good attitude with the ability to work with a team
9. Ability to interface with designer, architects and end users
10. Interested in learning and career growth
11. Excellent people skills a must
12. Ability to articulate both verbally and in writing
Duties:
1. Sales on high ticket merchandise
2. Manage physical site of showroom
3. Procure estimates and invoices
4. Follow jobs through from acquisition of sale, design development, production to delivery & installation
5. Interface with the design community effectively
6. Follow market trends and compile data for corporate reviews
7. Manage staff to create a productive and enjoyable work environment
