WIRED Technologies Group is looking for an AV Design Engineer that will be responsible for residential and commercial design solutions . Candidates that are self-starters and motivated to help further our brand by providing superior workmanship are preferred.

Successful candidates will have experience in A/V design and engineering that is centered around residential and commercial design and installations of Corporate Offices. Strong familiarity with A/V system design, including product specifications, CAD drawing packages, system documentation preparation, along with strong organizational skills required. Design/engineering department management experience a plus. Proven ability to complete and close jobs to the customer’s satisfaction required.

Candidates should be well versed in creating A/V schematics, coordinating with the sales department, installations department, and client, and be able to see a project through from order to final sign-off with minimal supervision. Good communication and personal skills are required, as the successful candidate will interact heavily with sales staff, installation crews, and clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate or equivalent experience required
• Minimum or 4 years in A/V design/engineering
• InfoComm/Avixa CTS certification required, CTS-D strongly preferred
• Crestron certifications such as CTI-CSD, DMC-D-4K, DMC-E-4K, or DM-NVX strongly preferred
• Proficiency in D-Tools, Visio, Lutron, Polycom preferred
