Overview:
The communications coordinator is responsible for supporting day to day internal and external communications across the entire franchise entity. Daily maintenance of internal and external communications portals for content, branding, imagery and current relevancy under the supervision of the Marketing Manager. May assist the marketing department with the creation of marketing materials, reports and plans. Actively contributes to promotional ideas, ad copy or other team efforts.
Essential Duties:
Daily updates to both internal and external communications via Sharepoint, including writing content, proofreading contributors’ content, and creating captivating graphics in accordance with brand imagery, style and tone of voice standards
Coordinate the creation, approval and distribution of internal, franchisor and external communication using in-house and third-party tools including Sharepoint
Create infographics, charts and reports to assist with comprehension and status of ongoing sales and new program efforts/tools across the organization
Gathers information for monthly reports on marketing activities and upcoming planned promotions for communication
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field
Working knowledge of website design, html, e-commerce, CRM systems and Sharepoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proofreading and concise editing
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite especially Sharepoint
2-4 years’ relevant experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with minimal supervision
Experience with WordPress, Sharepoint and Adobe Creative Suite, especially PhotoShop is preferred
Experience with Customer Relationship Management software such as SalesForce is preferred
