Specific/Primary Responsibilities:
• Follow company, OSHA, & ISO safety regulations
• Follow ISO & company process/organizational standards
• Prepare FAIR, in-process, final, & all other required inspection paperwork
• Balloon manufacturing blueprints
• Review first-article, in-process, & final inspection production paperwork for accuracy & completion
• Assist in performing & monitoring inspections/inspection process on manufacturing floor
• Assist in teaching & leading production employees in identifying inspection requirements/paperwork, performing inspections, correct use of all department inspection equipment:
-Mics
-Calipers
-Gages
-Virtek
-Romer arm/other portable CMM equipment
• Handle subcontracting/receiving inspections for verification of completed work
• Review completed job inspection paperwork & managing/maintaining the process of storing inspection documentation
• Participate in Corrective Action investigations, presenting findings to Quality lead
• Assist in PPAP development, process
• Clean, calibrate, & maintain department inspection equipment

Position Requirements:
• Previous experience in quality & inspection in a manufacturing, or metals manufacturing environment strongly preferred
• Previous experience in sheet metals fabrication, whether detail in production or quality is preferred
• Previous experience with PPAP's (process FEMA, & control plans specifically) preferred, but will train an individuals with quality background
• High level of detail orientation, math, & critical thinking skills
• Ability to work comfortably within excel & multiple software resources to locate, track, & maintain quality data/information
• Independent, self-starter with positive attitude
• Ability to communicate information proactively and effectively
