You may also email them to emily@pembertonpi.com Responsibilities: • Caseload Management: Handle all aspects of motor vehicle accident cases, from signing up new clients to settlement. • Client Guidance: Guide plaintiff clients through the case process and build trust. • Legal Research: Conduct discovery, perform legal research, and pre-suit discovery. Work directly with assigned Case Managers and Paralegals. • Negotiation : Reviewing demands and negotiating with insurance companies and lien holders to secure optimal settlements. • Team Communication: Provide direction and maintain constant communication with internal teams. • Expert Interaction : Engage with expert witnesses and obtain expert reports and affidavits. • Litigation Preparation: Draft pleadings, write briefs, and assist with discovery, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation. Qualifications: • Must be an active member in good standing with the Wisconsin Bar. A license to also practice law in Minnesota is preferred, but not required. • Ideally, 2+ years of litigation experience (motor vehicle/automobile liability preferred). • Ability to manage a high volume of cases. • Excellent client service and communication skills. • Self-starter driven by long-term career goals. • Compassion and empathy for clients and their families. • Team player who can work both independently and with assigned Case Managers, Paralegals, and other departments. • Supportive of fellow attorneys and attorney divisions. • Upholds our mission and Core Values each day.
