Surfaces By Pacific, a leading natural stone and quartz slab distributor based in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, is pleased to announce an immediate opening for an Outside Sales Specialist to support our Wisconsin territory. We are seeking a motivated, hardworking individual to join our growing sales team. This role requires the candidate to reside in a location between Illinois and Wisconsin to effectively support the assigned territory.

** Work Schedule**

• Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM

** Location**

1300 Mark Street, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007

** Employment Type**

Full-Time | Remote / On-the-Road
(4 days on a road, 1.5 day in the office)

** Duties & Responsibilities**

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers within an assigned territory
• Present product knowledge materials and support K&Bs and architects
• Provide product knowledge and training to customer sales teams
• Develop a thorough understanding of company products, competitors, and market positioning
• Manage and maintain product displays, samples, and sales tools at customer locations
• Prepare price quotes, review credit terms, and process sales orders and contracts
• Coordinate delivery timelines based on company schedules
• Review sales reports to identify growth opportunities with current and new customers
• Utilize marketing materials such as catalogs, brochures, and vendor collateral to promote products
• Install & manage and maintain product displays, samples, and sales tools at customer locations.
• Analyze customer needs and market trends to support sales strategies
• Resolve customer issues related to deliveries, returns, and credits
• Travel 70% within the assigned territory
• Perform additional duties as assigned

** Qualifications**

• Prior B2B sales experience
• Prior Stone/Countertop Industry experience
• Strong business knowledge and financial awareness
• Proven ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships
• Demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
• Strong organizational, time-management, and follow-up skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Entrepreneurial and results-driven mindset
• Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and ethical business practices
• Ability to work remotely and travel to the office 1–2 times per week as needed

** Minimum Requirements**

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of three (3) years of B2B sales experience
• Minimum of one (1) year of Stone/Countertop Industry Experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software
• Ability to travel approximately 70% within the assigned territory and 30% travel to Chicago DC/Office
• Ability to work extended hours, including Saturdays
• Valid driver’s license issued by state of residence
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check in accordance with company standards
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to transport samples and materials

** Compensation & Benefits**

The starting salary for this position ranges from $55,000 to $70,000 , plus commission, and is based on qualifications, experience, and job-related factors. We also offer a competitive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and a 401(k) plan with company matching.
