    Job Description

    The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for monitoring and ensuring proper execution of all the warehouse activities for Eataly North America (US and Canada), giving also support for the transportation activities (sea freight/inland transportation). The Supply Chain Manager is also involved in the definition and execution of strategic initiatives for the growing Supply Chain Team. Reports to the Supply Chain Senior Manager.

    • Oversees and supports all the US and Canada warehouses related activities: acceptance, scanning, inbound, storage, picking, outbound, shipping and cross docking, ensuring overall effectiveness and efficiency
    • Provides high-quality service to the Eataly North America Product Team and Buyers, promptly responding to needs and questions related to warehouse activities and stock status
    • Provides high-quality service to all Eataly North America stores, promptly responding to needs and questions related to stock availability, shipments and quality of goods
    • Maintains and manages relationships with the 3PL providers, monitoring their performance with an appropriate set of KPI
    • Manages a cost-effective Supply Chain and constantly looks for ways to reduce expenses and improve processes, while noting and correcting problems.
    • Interacts with logistics brokers/providers to request quotes
    • Participates in the semi-annual warehouse inventory counts
    • Performs daily and month-end operations to ensure every supply chain related movement is correctly recorded in the systems (WMS and ERP)
    • Provides help in updating information in the WMS and ERP systems
    • Monitors Performance KPI’s across the full Supply Chain (with particular attention to the warehouses), and interacts with other members of the Supply Chain Team to take action if needed
    • Partners with the Supply Chain Senior Manager to define the Strategic Roadmap and its execution
    • Performs other duties as required or assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain Management;
    • Experience in Supply Chain and/or Logistics in the Retail and Food/Beverage industries
    • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
    • Experience with ERP / WMS systems
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders
    • Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, analytical and business management skills
    • Outstanding interest in Supply Chain and Logistics
    • Master’s Degree preferred

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Availability to travel up to 20% of the time
