    We are seeking a full-time exemptNetwork Administrator Tier 1 to join our Network Operations Centerteam.In this role, the employee will be responsible for 24/7 monitoring ofthe network as well as 24/7 troubleshooting and resolvingnetwork and access point issues. The Network Admin Tier 1 willdispatch technicians to tower sites to replace equipment, new networkequipment configurations, change management implementation, andresolve Customer Experience and Support Team escalations.

    NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR TIER 1

    SHIFT HOURS: Thursday- Monday 8AM to 5PM with evening on-call rotation as needed

    SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Quickly diagnose, prioritize, and troubleshoot internal/external network issues,primarily at the Access Layer of Wisper's Network
    • Frontline response for Wisper's network monitoring platforms and outage recoverydispatch and coordination processes
    • Resolve issues escalated by Customer Experience and Support Teams
    • Work with peers to identify and resolve issues within the network
    • Documentation and keeping all tickets/tower data up to date
    • Equipment configuration and setup
    • Change management implementation
    • Participate in a regularly scheduled after-hours / weekend on-call rotation
    • Comply with the Wisper Core Values
    • Work with NOC Manager to ensure the NOC team is adhering to improvingprocesses
    • Other related duties as directed

    REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Basic understanding of Layer 2/3 Networking principles
    • 1 year of operational support of wireless network or GPON equipment
    • Adaptable to fast-paced, high-change environment
    • Be able to communicate effectively via phone, email, and message systems
    • Must demonstrate personal accountability; be punctual for appointments and meetings
    • Regular and predictable attendance required

    DESIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

    • Prioritize customer satisfaction with a focus ondelivering sustained high service levels
    • Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking,excellent analytical ability
    • WISP experience preferred
    • Experience with Mikrotik RouterOS
    • Experience with Cambium and Ubiquiti PTPand PTMP wireless networking products
    • GPON experience
    • Wireless certifications
    • Entry-level Networking certifications
    • Above-average organizational skills
    • Ability to work well under pressure alongsidemultiple departments
    • Ability to maintain confidential information

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

    • Fast-paced, environment with multiple changes to schedules and fluctuating priorities
    • Work is primarily performed indoors, at a desk
    • Must pass a background check & drug screen
