    Witham Family Hotels is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as Human Resources Associate in our HR department, located in Bar Harbor, Maine. This is a full-time year-round job opportunity, eligible for benefits.

    The HR Associate will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organizations human resources department. This position reports directly to the HR Director, and works closely with employees at all levels in the organization.

    _ Job Responsibilities:_

    • Answer phones and emails for the HR department. Provides clerical support to the HR department.
    • Conduct or assist with new hire orientation sessions and onboarding efforts.
    • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
    • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
    • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
    • Assists with maintaining users database for software such as Beekeeper.
    • Update or create content for our work communication tool (Beekeeper).
    • Prepare and modify documents using Excel and Office 365.
    • Provide customer service to organization employees.
    • Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned.

    • Communicate efficiently and respectfully to others

    Education and Experience:
    Prior related office and HR experience preferred.

    Performance Measurement:

    90 Day performance review, annual performance review, attendance, productivity, feedback from others, etc.
