    Job Description

    BACKGROUND

    Witt O'Brien's is an industry leader in crisis and emergency response. We respond to over 1600 incidents every year, ranging in scale from small events and telephone drills to Deepwater Horizon and avian flu outbreaks. While our approach is "all-hazards", we have particularly deep response expertise in energy, shipping, government, healthcare and education. We are looking for the next leader of this critical function.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    • Cold call and re-engage prior employees and contractors from prior projects
    • Build and maintain talent pipeline for Disaster Relief Projects
    • Use ApplicantPro to review incoming applications, track pipeline, and re-engage for upcoming projects
    • Post new jobs, track candidates, schedule, and report from ApplicantPro
    • Screen candidates for experience and fit
    • Make verbal job offers
    • Prepare written job offers
    • Oversee background check process
    • Report on status of candidate flow and pipeline
    • Attend meetings and engage with management and the business on staffing options
    • Back up other areas in onboarding, data entry, new hire orientation, filing, etc.
    • Other duties as assigned

    KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

    • Occasional travel to US job sites for mass hiring events
    • Must be available for occasional weekend work
    • Able to be flexible on working hours and work extremely well as part of a fast-moving team
    • Must be able to work effectively with a wide variety of hiring managers, internal clients, and candidates
    • Must be flexible and adaptable to change priorities on short notice

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

    • Recent experience with ApplicantPro or prior experience with ApplicantPro*
    • Prior experience contacting large pools of candidates to engage for assignments
    • Prior experience/formal training on behavioral based interviewing concepts
    • Recent experience posting in Linked IN and Indeed
    • Experience with using the company Facebook, Twitter, and Linked IN accounts to generate interest in advance of amass hiring event
    • Prior experience in a mass hiring environment
    • Prior experience staffing federal contracts, skilled labor, and highly technical jobs
    • Prior experience with electronic onboarding a plus
    • Prior experience with Oracle a plus

    *Experience with one or more full life cycle recruitment databases also acceptable
