We're searching for a detail-oriented mortgage loan officer assistant. This position will play a vital part in communicating with referral partners, current and past clients, real estate agents, lenders, and underwriters to nurture relationships and develop new business. You will facilitate the completion of real estate loan applications, collect, analyze, and review supporting loan documentation in accordance with loan guidelines, and provide support throughout the loan application process. Responsibilities: Be the primary liaison between the mortgage loan officer and our clients and schedule meetings to discuss outstanding items Assemble loan documentation as required necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork Answer questions about transactions for clients and company employees to help ensure a high level of customer satisfaction • Superior understanding of Fannie, Freddie, FHA/VA guidelines • High level of customer service, Ownership and Urgency • Work closely with borrowers, loan officers, realtors to gather and prepare all documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements • Send out requests for additional information to the borrower via email, fax, and phone calls • Keep clients and realtors updated on loans status for their files in process • Managing your pipeline to ensure on-time closings • Follow up with clients on missing items needed for approvals • Notifying all parties of any delays • DU/ LP advanced proficiency • Calculate corp, personal, and business tax returns Qualifications: Although not required, having an NMLS license or training is preferred Highly motivated and goal-oriented with excellent customer service and communication skills • 5+ years of mortgage processing/underwriting/Loan Officer, or LOA experience with FHA/VA/CONV/Jumbo • Excellent computer skills a must • Bi-lingual a plus • Advances knowledge of DU and LP • Knowledge of Encompass a plus • High interest in customer service, highly motivated, focused and goal-oriented Compensation: $60,000 - $95,000 yearly
