Wize Solutions, an Information Technology consulting firm in Abingdon, VA, is seeking candidates for the position of Business Systems Analyst to monitor and recommend improvements to an organization’s software, hardware, and business system. The Business Systems Analyst will work closely with clients to understand business and client requirements and implement processes to meet those needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Preferred candidates will have a BS or BA degree. Certification is desirable.
• Experience working with state or federal government agencies is also desirable.

The ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:

• Oversees and manages the operational aspects of the project including acting as a liaison between local and off-site client, development team, and stakeholders.
• Leads process discovery, user story creation and backlog sessions with cross functional stakeholder groups.
• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, development team, and clients.
• Frequent use and application of industry practices, techniques, and standards
• Communication - both written and verbal - must be clear, concise, and easily understood by multiple levels within the organization.
• Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives
• Participates in the development of solutions to a variety of problems moderate in scope and complexity.
• Monitor the team's workload and adjust assignments as needed.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS: This position requires working in an internal environment as well as remote client environments.
